The Richmond Green Group (RGG) is pleased to announce that Santiago Herreros de Tejada, has started with RGG as new Business Development Director, effective immediately.
Herreros De Tejada’s appointment comes as RGG works to expand its operations worldwide, inline with changing market conditions that require a more international approach to the overseas property industry.
“We are delighted to have Santiago on board at the Richmond Green Group,” said David le Lacheur, sales director across RGG’s portfolio. “He brings a wealth of experience across international markets to the group and his remit will help drive the group forward into new markets as part of our international outlook on the industry.”
Herreros De Tejada has helped RGG open its first international office in Madrid from which he said he will be able to create further business opportunities for the group and help overseas agents and developers reach the Spanish buyer which spent 2.619million Euro on overseas property in H2 2007 - 69% more year-on-year. In the forthcoming years, Santiago Herreros de Tejada, will help the group to open new offices in key international real estate markets.
“As Business Development Director of RGG, my main goal is to reinforce the values which the company offers to associations, the public and the private sector, promote the existing products of the company, develop new projects which offer value to the industry, and establish a sales network in international markets,” he said.
“My passion in my working life so far has been to offer added value to any professional involved in the international real estate market, and help them reach investors, buyers, and professionals in the main buyer markets. In RGG, I found a group of highly motivated and consolidated professionals that have been working for the last five years towards the very same goal, which covers the need of all developers and professionals interested in selling overseas property.”
Santiago Herreros de Tejada comes to RGG from his position as International Director at exhibition giant Planner Reed, which he served for five years. A large part of de Herreros de Tejada’s role at the firm was to help facilitate sales for one of the industry’s biggest exhibitions: Salon Inmobiliario Internacional (SIMA), which draws in over 150,000 visitors over 100,000 sqm of exhibition space.
During his time at the firm, Herreros de Tejada closed more than 100 agreements with international real estate associations and developed sales networks for SIMA in over 20 markets worldwide.
Before working at Planner Reed, RGG’s Business Development Director worked in the Global Corporate Banking department of Citibank International Plc in Madrid, and has an MBA in Business Administration from the prestigious Spanish business school Instituto de Empresa.
Herreros De Tejada will help facilitate sales and build partnerships across the entire portfolio at the Richmond Green Group which includes OPP Magazine, OPP Russia, OPPLive Exhibition and Richmond Green Marketing.
RGM expands client base outside of Europe for the first time
Richmond Green Marketing (RGM), part of the Richmond Green Group (RGG) of companies, has announced the addition of two new companies to its portfolio, expanding its client footprint outside of Europe for the first time in the company’s history.
RGM’s first client outside of Europe, Reserva Conchal, will see the marketing specialist work closely with the developer to build new channels of distribution for it in all the key buyer markets.
Lucy Malec, Network Distribution Services (NDS) manager for RGM, will commence work with Reserva Conchal as of June 9 2008 to package the company’s developments in appropriate ways best suited to the individual tastes and requirements of the European, Russian and other CIS buyer markets.
Alongside the NDS work put in place by RGM, the company will work to address key due diligence issues on the project to ensure the developments promoted by RGM to agents are done so with integrity, ensuring they can promote projects with impunity.
Continuing its growth outside of RGM’s traditional market of Europe, the property marketing specialist has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with developer Golden Palms, responsible for the construction of the Riverplace project in Cancun, Mexico. Under the MoU, RGM will represent the 600+ unit development on a global sales and marketing basis effective immediately. Backed by a substantial sales and marketing budget over the next two and a half years, RGM will examine and analyse appropriate buyer markets for the project to devise and implement appropriate sales strategies accordingly.
RGM’s global expansion Continuing its push to become one of Europe’s most successful marketing companies, RGM can also announce a significant publishing and conference initiative signed with Greek construction specialists Interpraxis.
RGM, on behalf of Interpraxis, will be staging a high-level trade conference to be held in Athens in late September. The conference will also have the added networking support of Interpraxis owner and Chief Executive, a former Greek Minister of Public Works and Construction. RGM is still in the consultation phase with Interpraxis regarding the nature of the publishing arrangement with the company.
Peter Robinson, Managing Director of RGM, also revealed that the company is in detailed talks with Portuguese and Moroccan property and tourism professionals, concerning significant new marketing and sales agreements.
“RGM is delighted to announce that it is in advanced negotiations upon property-related residential tourist programs in association with the Portuguese and Moroccan governments,” he said. “These will involve very high-level, co-ordinated efforts to bring together many partners under one umbrella to help promote residential tourism in specific regions of the respective countries."
“RGM is also very pleased to announce that we have just signed a contract with CBRE Richard Ellis Panama to develop a co-ordinated and sustained marketing program for a consortia of Panamanian developers aimed at attracting buyers to various Panama projects from Europe, Russia (and other CIS countries) and beyond.”
